"The name Uvargandr made its way from the tongue of the giants into the Common Speech and means something like “storm-monstrosity”. Uvargandr belong to the lesser dragons, much closer to wyrms than to the winged representatives of their kind. They compensate for this lack of grace and elegance with extreme ferocity. An aggressive Uvargandr never stays still; it is in constant motion with the explosive dynamism of a lunging crocodile, and every charge, leap, and movement is accompanied by flash explosions. The Uvargandr’s scaled hide is known to flake off or be shed by the creature itself, these Storm Scale Chunks discharging in further explosions as it goes, making combat against this violent beast even more disorienting and chaotic."
Abilities
The Uvargandr marks the beginning of a string of upcoming draconic releases , be it dragons, drakes, lindwurms, wyverns, or another variant of the scaled kin. With a CR of 10, the Uvargandr sits alongside the well-known and popular Behir as a varied challenge for reasonably experienced groups with usability in a variety of settings, from the Barovian highlands featured in Curse of Strahd to the storm-wreathed plains of the Sword Coast. A multitude of different maneuvers and a series of explosive, lightning-based elemental attacks promise an action-packed spectacle, be it as a boss fight or a demanding random encounter!

As always, this release comes with a tactical guide located within their bio, allowing you to run this monster almost blindly witch a few quick glances. Synergies will be decoded, interactivity revealed, and best practices disclosed.
Immersive Integration
Using our handy immersive integration feature, you can slowly prepare your players for upcoming encounters, using our suggested skill checks or just improvising your own. Each of these prompts builds up the creature, teases ability or grants boni to the players, rewarding them for doing their research.
Each creature's Journal is filled with story hooks and different narrative prompts, from foreshadowing the creature's existence to flavourful snippets to really sell the creature's appearance, combat prowess and eventual demise.
Patrons also gain access to the PDF, complete with the creature's stats as well as some playtest spells and loot, possibly to be later released as official Beneos Loot and Spells!
