New Loot: Proliferating Plate, Festering Blade, Teeth-Smasher Tankard & A Drink of Despair

Proliferating Plate and Festering Blade are both of the Mutation origin, meaning they are innately disgusting but effective. The armor allows you to adapt to your opponents' arsenal by granting resistance against damage types upon suffering from them (the cleansing might of radiant and fire damage disables this, however!), while the blade's critical hits leave your enemies suffering from festering wounds. These wounds deal a little bit of damage over time and contain a nasty suprise, should anyone try to heal themselves while carrying the festering seeds of mutation within them...

Great dwarven artificer Hjalmar couldn’t prevent his grandmother from getting into brawls. But by gifting her the Teeth-Smasher Tankard, he could at least ensure that she emerged victorious. Upon knocking enemies out, the Tankard produces a hearty brew that allows you to regain some hit points. Drink too often from it and you will enter a mighty Brawler's Rage, forcing you to pummel anything in range before passing out.

Finally, A Drink of Despair. Once you drink this suspicious black liquid dripping from a mysterious monolith deep within a storm-wreathed spire, you'll slip into an apathetic trance for a random number of days, unable to do anything but eat, drink and sleep during that time. You emerge forever changed with a bleak outlook on life, the experiences granting you immunity to being charmed or frightened at the cost of benefiting from inspiration or advantage....

FAQ:

1) Do I need to change anything?

Two things:

  1. Update the Beneos module and the D&D 5e System for FoundryVTT

  2. Use Foundry VTT v13, as the cloud integration supports v13 only.

2) How do I link my cloud account with Patreon?

Create an account at beneos.cloud, log in, and click “Connect Patreon" on the upper left side. The link between accounts remains active as long as your pledge is active. In the module, simply log in with your Beneos account.

3) Can I still download ZIP files?

Yes. On beneos.cloud you can download individual packs or complete backlogs as ZIPs and use them as you wish, for example via Roll20/Alchemy RPG.

4) How do I install directly into Foundry VTT?

In the Beneos module (v13), use the Search Engine: Click “Install” or drag-and-drop into your world. No manual downloads/uploads/imports/compendia needed anymore.
Foundry VTT V12 users can continue to load old zip files with their V12 Beneos module, but please note that for technical reasons, new content can only be released for V13, so it is advisable to update as soon as possible.
