Delver's Lantern (Level 1 Conjuration) conjures a spectral lantern that only you can see, giving you advantage on checks to find traps and navigate enclosed spaces like dungeons, ruins, crypts, caves and the like. The light being invisible to others means you can scout ahead without announcing yourself, which is the kind of edge that keeps expensive adventurers alive long enough to actually spend their gold.
Elongate (Transmutation Cantrip) does exactly what it says on the tin, it stretches one of your limbs to three times its normal length for just long enough to be useful. Pick a lock from a comfortable distance, grab an object off a high shelf, trigger a suspicious lever without standing on it, be a freak, the list goes on. Because its too wibbly-wobbly, it cannot be used to attack or grapple (sorry, Eldritch Knights!), but a bonus action cantrip that gives you 10 feet of reach for creative problem-solving is the kind of spell that you can get a lot of mileage out of.
Depose the Dead (Level 5 Necromancy) is Speak with Dead, but actually useful (and more costly to make up for that). Force remnants of a dead creature's soul to answer your questions and — crucially — compel it to answer truthfully, regardless of loyalty, enmity, or whatever bullshit usually keeps them from actually being helpful. Legendary creatures get a saving grace in the form of a Charisma saving throw, but if they do fail they gotta answer your questions, no nonsense.
Minor Mimicry (Level 1 Illusion) lets you study a creature for one minute and, as long as you maintain eye contact and hear it speak at least six words, you can then then perfectly replicate its voice, mannerisms, and behavior for the next ten minutes. HOWEVER you do not transform into the creature visually, so you have to plan around that factor, but thats the fun isn't it. Advantage on Performance and Persuasion checks when impersonating the target makes it a reliable infiltration tool, and at higher spell slots you can push past humanoids entirely, mimicking beasts, giants, undead, and eventually anything with a voice. There might also be a Major Mimicry spell around the corner, just saying.
Overall, it’s a cool selection of spells that you can use to freshen up your players’ spellbooks, give your monsters some neat extra abilities, or enhance items of your choice. Everything is fully integrated and available to all patrons!
