New Loot: Reveler's Chalice, Hatebringer Harness, Concussive Accelerator & Honourbound
Reveler's Chalice conjures Dreamgrape Wine, a fey drink potent enough that the fumes alone to send a sturdy dwarven brewmasters reeling. By filling the chalice everyone within 15 feet has to hold their breath or end up affected by confusion, but gaining some talent in the performance art for the duration. Drinking from it directly is a gamble: succeed on a punishing DC 20 Constitution save and you regain a healthy chunk of hit points, fail it and your consciousness drifts off into the Feywild for eight hours while your body sleeps where it fell. Six drinks per fill, once per day. Have fun!
Hatebringer Harness. For many melee specialists, mobility is an ongoing problem, as they spend more and more time trying to get in range rather than actually bashing monster faces in. The Hatebringer Harness turns you into a furious freight train that barrels into melee with serious momentum, blasting everything in your path. It also constantly vents caustic steam, obscuring you from cowardly ranged attackers trying to keep their distance.
Concussive Accelerator. Has anyone of you played Star Wars: Zero Company? There's an enemy type that carries a kind of generator on its back that multiplies the speed of its strikes. I thought that was pretty cool, and there just aren't enough items for unarmed fighting enthusiasts anyway. The Concussive Accelerator does exactly that, as it accelerates your strikes so that you can make two for every unarmed strike. You can do this a few times, but the strain on your body increases each time. In return, once you hit a certain number of punches, you get a hefty combo finisher.
If pathos is your thing, Honourbound is exactly what you're looking for. Channel your inner samurai and pledge your loyalty to a single person. Should you ever neglect your duty and leave them in mortal danger, you make their death saving throws in their stead. As you do, you rise above yourself, gaining legendary actions equal to the number of failed death saves, each one another chance to strike. And should you fall in the line of duty, you can be brought back via a complex blood ritual. Apart from that, its just a really good sword.
Overall, it’s a cool selection of items that you can use to freshen up your players’ inventory! Everything is fully integrated and available to all patrons!
