New Spells: Toxic Touch, Flickerfever, Nightshade Gardens & Earthen Armor

Toxic Touch is a nice little cantrip that’s meant to add more variety to the cantrip selection, this time with a poison focus. First, it deals poison damage, and then the affected enemy takes additional poison damage the next time it receives poison damage.
Flickerfever is a nasty little curse that causes a creature to be unable to perceive other creatures during its turn, only as flickering silhouettes. Because of this, it can’t target any other creatures besides itself, but it is not blinded or anything like that. Similar to blink, there’s a chance that the spell doesn’t trigger for one round, though this probability can be increased by using higher spell slots. In any case, it always deals some psychic damage, even if the spell fails to properly take hold.
Earthen Armor is inspired by skeletal earth elementals and allows a druid to move a certain distance beneath the ground and then re-emerge encased in earth and stone. This reduces their movement speed—after all, they’re lugging around a few kilos/pounds of rock—but at the same time they gain resistance to almost all damage as long as the temporary hit points last.
Last but not least, Nightshade Gardens summons several patches of deadly nightshade that create difficult terrain and are capable of poisoning creatures. This poison is accompanied by several other unpleasant status effects.
Overall, it’s a cool selection of spells that you can use to freshen up your players’ spellbooks, give boss monsters some neat extra abilities, or enhance items of your choice. Everything is fully integrated and available to all patrons!
